So, I purchased these initially to work on some of the more complex movements involved with Indian Club / Steel Club / Clubbell workouts. I ordered these two at the same time and I got two entirely different clubs. Check out the pictures when you get the chance, I’ll be referring to them a bit for this review;- You may be wondering what the difference is but check it out, one has a rubber stopper and the other doesn’t, hilariously enough. Now it may not be a big deal to some, but as a lot of you know, a rubber stopper can make a HUGE difference in an extended workout. Friction from a rubber stopper can make a workout much easier as you’re relying on friction more so than your own grip. Using one with and without makes a noticeable difference from my experience, and it can lead to some inconsistencies in muscle growth / development down the road.Center of Gravity; take a look at the weighted end of the club. Both are shaped a little differently as well, which again makes a noticeable difference when swinging these around.- Quality control, not sure what happened with the casting, but the club with the rubber stopper has a TON of etchings and divots whereas the other one is virtually perfect. Not a huge deal but it is something worth noting. Yes, I understand these are weights and they ARE going to be tossed around as designed. FYI: Since the clubs are black, it was hard to get decent pictures of the divots/etchings.Conclusion? They’re fine, they get the job done, and they feel solid. Maybe you’re better off getting singles and not pairs? Ultimately, at low weights these differences won’t be quite as noticeable until you’re using clubs that are on the heavier end of things AND they’re fairly priced, so beggars can’t be choosers. At the end of the day, do what you can to stay moving. Have a good workout!
