I bought this book after trying another habit breaking book which didn't seem to have too much affect.Well, with this book I hit the jackpot! I immediately put the book to use by changing my eating habits. Within two weeks I was so focused and positive habit forming it was stunning! I lost quite a bit of weight, and most importantly, felt ready to break any habit I should set my sights on.I describe this book to others as "sort of operant condition you'd use training a pet, except your turning the techniques on yourself!". To boil it down, I created a great scheme for rewarding good habits while punishing bad habits. I found after a week or two the good habits were becoming, well, a habit. I found that it became easier and easier to remain focused on good habits while fewer and fewer times I found myself lapsing into bad habits.I would highly recommend this book.
