I paid a premium price for this Barcalounger lounge chair, thinking I was getting high quality, but what I got was the cheapest, thinnest, crummiest leather imaginable.Within a month the corners of the footrest were rubbed bare, looking and feeling more like paper pulp than leather. My “old” lounge chair went 25 years without any such wear. We complained, and they replaced the footrest.Little good that did, as it immediately started wearing on the corners again, even though I go to great extremes trying not to touch the corners. There are also spots on the seat where the color has simply worn off and left white spots about the size of a pea.This is either fake leather, or the cheapest crap leather Barcalounger could find. Either way, it is junk. I should have demanded a refund, but I didn’t.Now I’m stuck with it. If Barcalounger has any brand pride, or any desire to do the right thing, they will pick this chair up, get it off my hands, and give me my money back!
