I don't know why some people are reporting that these bottom brackets aren't durable... I hope they haven't started making these on-the-cheap.I have had to switch all my bicycles from cartridge bearing bottom brackets to loose-bearing models because I'm always burning them out in a matter of weeks. The newer outboard cup models are the worst of all. No matter the brand (Campagnolo, Shimano, SRAM, and numerous no-name models) the cartridge bearing design just seems flawed. The exception has been the Truvativ Power Spline bottom bracket. I've gone through two in eight years. I use these on my commuter fixed-gear bicycle that I use a minimum of 75 miles a week - rain or shine. The first one gave out after three years or so back when I was using the fixed-gear for commuting and training and I went through about a dozen rain storms that year. I was putting in 150 miles a week for 2 of those three years. A slight clicking noise finally cropped up. I could soak the unit in motor oil, then let it drain and it would be good for another week or so... but I finally just changed it out.I recently bought a new fixed-gear frameset and decided to replace the old Power Spline with a new unit... the old one is still fine, it just didn't want to thread into the frameset's bottom bracket shell easily and I had a new one in the shop. The Power Spline is a proprietary design by Truvativ (now owned by SRAM I take it, based on the labeling of the new one I just ordered so that I have a spare on hand)... so it isn't ISIS... it's more tapered looking. The whole Power Spline concept never really caught on (sort of like Shimano's Octalink... yep, tried that one as well), so it's unclear how long they'll keep manufacturing them... but you have to use a Power Spline crankset with these. As others have mentioned, these aren't anything special to look at. They are not particularly well sealed or ultra-smooth turning out of the box... but in my experience, they have proven very durable and that has made all the difference.BruhIt works exactly as a bottom bracket should.Exact replacement with new fasteners included….very happyNot too many offered for this special bottom bracket. I replaced it for a bad race face.Greetings from Costa Rica, I need a BSA bottom bracket because mine got broken last april. And my MTB BMC TeamElite 03 2020 need it a Truvativ Power Spline Bottom Bracket (68 X 113). It worked, but I have plans to change the crankset for a GX 32t and a lighter hollow bottom bracket!I ride a fixed gear bike 20 miles daily commuting. This bottom bracket holds up to some pretty gnarly abuse. Spins fast, spins true, and lasts. A perfect fit for my 88' Nashbar which is a strange bottom bracket size, this aligns my chain ring to my rear wheel exactly. I ride year round so this gets a lot of debris, salt and grime sprayed into it. The sealed bottom bracket keeps the bearings spinning smoothly year after year. Since I ride fixed I put a lot of strain on my bottom bracket since I use it for breaking and track standing. This holds up to power slide stops and slowing down/speeding up on a dime. I normally get 2-3 years out of these bottom brackets and when they're done I happily buy another because they're solid work horses.Installed in 10min and works as expectedi ordered this part with the full intention to replace my original on my specialized mountain bike. although the measurements are exactly as i found on my original one, 68x113, there was one other measurement that my original one had ‘73mm shell no spacer’. this made the BB too short to fit properly. The customer service from Yachew LTD, David was absolutely amazing. He tried to help me in every way. in the end, he still offered me a refund to resolve the issue without hassle! i have the admit that part of the blame falls on me as well since the part itself was not defective...this is first time i got refund from amazon after using them for 19 years. with so little hassle, i will definitely buy from this seller and amazon again! of course i have learned and will check and confirm the perfect fit next time...Thank you David from Yachew LTD!Escribo esto para que ayude a otro y no le pase como a mi, atención que hay dos tipos de ejes Isis, el power que es este, más fino, y el normal que es más gordo. Yo pedi por equivocación este y lo tuve que devolver porque era muy estrecho para el encaje de mis bielasThis is the same model that was on my bike (2009) which was getting a little chewy/rough - I think the bearings got some water in them. This was a pretty cheap and easy replacement, just remove pedal cranks, unthread (anti clockwise!) the bracket and replace. Hopefully good for another 10 years. Also includes a set of crank arm screws.Ho sostituito il mio perchè aveva un gioco ai cuscinetti durato 7 anni e l'ho ripreso uguale, spero che duri come il vecchi. buon rapporto qualità prezzo.La qualità Truvativ, niente da aggiungere
