I also have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo - and everything fit perfect, from the motor to the track/regulator itself. My motors were made by "Bosch" and I don't know if they were Chrysler original or not as I bought the Jeep used but I do know they are not the same as the ACI as the broken ones were all white plastic pieces and ACI are Green and Black. All 4 of my window regulators needed to be replaced, I order all 4 from Amazon and all 4 were without motors and from ACI. So far 2 have arrived (both front windows) and both fit perfectly and operated smoothly. Took me about a 30-45 minutes to change each one including cleaning the window and putting the tools away.***Installation***For the Fronts, remove the screw behind the interior door handle (torque bit) and the Phillips screw at the door grab handle and behind the plug by the side view mirror. Then starting from the top gently pull door panel out pulling the plastic fasteners out of the door (a door trim panel tool helps but is not necessary) CAUTION there is wiring and door handle rods attached to the panel still, once you have the door panel pulled away disconnect the (2) door rods by twisting the clips off the rod and lifting them out of the holes, then disconnect the door/window connector and the mirror connector. Once the door panel is removed then take out the speaker for more room - and remove the black plastic inside cover (it is dry and brittle so take your time) then prop your winodow so it does not fall, I propped my window from falling by using wood construction shims slid between the window and the rubber at the bottom - then you can remove the two "clips" that hold the window in - I used a 90 degree poker, from there you can take the (3) motor bolts out and the (4) window regulator bolts out, then GENTLY pop the window off near where you pulled the clips by pushing it slightly towards the outside of the door (make sure window does not fall) then you can remove the motor and regulator out through the door, swap the motor over to the new unit (Making sure the mounting holes face the same way as the mounting holes on regulator mounting - I screwed this up each time and was puzzled - had to remove the motor and twist it around to the other side and re-attach the motor), then put the new regulator in the door all in the opposite order. It is an easy install if you take your time.Bryan
